Admission

• B.Ed. (2 Year Course) : 200 Seats

Eligibility: Graduation with at least 50% marks (Gen.), 45% (SC/ST/BC); 55% for  B.Tech./B.E. Graduates

Admission Procedure:
Admission to B.Ed. course is done through Centralized Counselling exclusively on merit basis, conducted rotation wise by all the Three prestigious Universities of Punjab – Panjab University Chandigarh; Punjabi University Patiala and Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar.

Management Seats: 26 out of 200 seats for the course
Reservation: As per notification of Punjab Govt.

General Instructions:

85% seats are reserved for resident candidate of Punjab State and 15% seats are open to the candidates of other states on all India basis. Migration Certificate in original and Detailed Marks sheet of the qualifying examination passed by the candidates from universities other than Punjabi University Patiala, before sending the University Registration return, failing which they will have to pay late fee as per instructions of Punjabi University Patiala.

Note:

The following Teaching Subjects are available:
Major Subjects- Life Science, Physical Science, Science, Mathematics, Commerce, History, Pol. Science, SSt., Economics, Physical Education, Fine Arts, Computer Education/ Computers.
Minor Subjects: Languages (English, Punjabi & Hindi).

Fee Structure:
As per Punjab Govt. and Punjabi University norms.

 

• M.Ed. (2 Year Course) : 50 Seats

Eligibility: B.Ed. with 55% marks (Gen.); 50% marks (SC/ST/BC)
Admission Procedure:
Direct admission on Merit Basis as per norms of Punjabi University Patiala.

Fee Structure:
As per Punjab Govt. & Punjabi University, Patiala norms.
